| About Stella 66 | After a few variations of guitar player Stella 66 are currently gigging and recording as a 4 piece rock pop band, and as the Osmonds once said, "We're a little bit country"!! All the tunes are written by Emily and the  band, and the vibe is all about the chorus, chorus, chorus! Stella 66's songs are instant and memorable, with influences from a wide musical base. Like Alanis on a good day, all the songs are honest, emotive, bittersweet and sometimes a little bit cheeky... Stella 66 love playing great music almost as much as they love each other!(sorry, instant gag reflex!) Stella 66 are in the middle of planning a Canadian Tour for next year and are keen to hook up with any bands, promoters, record labels that fancy joining the party. |

Influences
A whole host of randomness.( That's not the name of a band! Although I like it...) You've heard of when Harry met Sally, well Stella 66 is more of a when Emily met Ryan! Emily is influenced by your typical songwritery folk, Joni, Carole King, Suzanne Vega, Sting, Sheryl Crow and more recently The Band (yes, perhaps controvertially I prefer them to Dylan). Ryan alternatively is all about the ROCK!! The man is a rabid Chilis fan! So when the two worlds collided, we ended up with Stella 66! To be honest, I'me lucky enough to be mates with some cracking songwriters who have as much of an influence on me as any 'famous' people. Cheers to them, they'll know who they are x
