What a fantastic night we had at the Studio, brilliant music from the best band playing a selection of REM's vast music collection, yes STIPE you are BEST.
With Rick (back with the blue stripe tonight) sounding and looking like the man, Paul perfect guitar with kicks higher than the Buck, Quick Fingers Tony supplying brilliant depth just like the Mills, Pete (in his Stringfellow jacket and dark specs very dapper) top performance on both keyboard and acoustic guitar and then The Lad (new) Carl well done a brilliant performance on drums keeping the rest on the beat.
We were treated to a night of REM classics done to perfection with special note to So Central Rain, Boy in the Well, The One I Love, Kenneth and Man on The Moon, they were brilliant. It was great to see a packed dance floor (our feet are still aching). For those who missed the gig come next time and enjoy REM music at its best from the brilliant STIPE
Well done keep up the hard work hope to see you soon (on the east coast).
