Wasbi Productions are looking for a female actor to star in the lead role for
their new film.
The script is deceptively simple and a fun read, but a closer inspection,
quite layered with meaning - written by the current writer, editor and script
associate of the ITV drama series 'Bad Girls'.
The basic storyline is about this pushy, eccentric mum of a child beauty
pageant who goes on about importance of keeping yourself beautiful as she's
applying her make up. Conceptually, I love the idea that all the while she is
physically putting on the make up, she is in fact, unmasking herself
psychologically and revealing her naked vulnerability.
The projects dictates that the role must be between the ages of 28 - 38,
medium to long hair, common speech essential.
